Profile
I am a Solution Architect and DevOps Engineer with more than 20 years in the IT industry, across several domains including web hosting and content management systems. I hold multiple AWS, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Microsoft Azure certifications, and my work centres on designing and implementing cost-effective cloud solutions.
My architecture work covers scalable, secure and cost-efficient designs on AWS and OCI: multi-tier, highly available and fault-tolerant solutions using services such as Amazon EC2, RDS, S3 and CloudFront; security frameworks built on IAM policies, encryption and data residency controls; and solutions in AWS Local Zones designed to comply with strict data residency policies. I have led migration projects from on-premises infrastructure to the cloud with a focus on minimal downtime.
On the DevOps side, I have built CI/CD infrastructure for multiple release environments, set up Kubernetes clusters with autoscaling for the automated build and release of software from development to production, and managed infrastructure automation with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation. That work rests on a long background in systems administration and web hosting: Linux and Windows servers, web servers and caching, databases, monitoring and scripting.
I hold a Master of Information Technology from Sikkim Manipal University and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics from Kerala University. I am also a cloud trainer and an IoT project enthusiast, and I run Tech Trivandrum to share what I have learned through courses, free tutorials and consulting.

A complete CI/CD pipeline that takes a WordPress application from a developer's local Docker environment to an Amazon EKS cluster in production.
A Python Boto3 Lambda project that snapshots production EBS volumes automatically and replicates the snapshots to another region for disaster recovery.
